Welcome to Catacurian, a privately
owned boutique cooking hotel in the Priorat region,
near Barcelona Spain, providing the best cooking
vacations since 2003. We provide our guests with
lasting memories and a wonderful experience, in
which they not only learn the basics and intricacies of
Catalan cuisine as well as a more extensive knowledge
of the world class Montsant and Priorat wines, but also
discover a yet unspoiled and authentic part of Spain
just two hours from the wonderful city of
Barcelona. Whether you are looking for a single
day escape from the city or a cooking vacation
including one or several nights in one of our three
extremely comfortable private bedrooms, and you
would like daily hands-on cooking classes and winery
tours, all given with great care, humor, and a Spanish
accent by your host and chef Alicia Juanpere, then this
is the place to come to! Why are we different?
We only
cater to a maximum of six people, so as to convey as
much personal attention as you may
need.

exclusively use fresh and organic ingredients from as
many local farmers and producers as
possible.

serve only quality DOQ Priorat and DO Montsant
wines.
Accommodation is at our own very
comfortable Boutique Cooking Hotel, and you may be
